Description:
All probes 3MHz and under serve their purpose in obstetric applications. The LifeDop L150 2MHz probe attains a deeper penetration; useful for late term. 2MHz is the best choice after 21 weeks gestation. The 3MHz probe is best for early term assesment and provides a wider angle. For even deeper penetration, the 4MHz vascular probe is best suited. The 4MHz probe can often be used for arterial sounds in many vascular assessments. For total vascular assesments, 5MHz and 8MHz are a great choice. The 5MHz vascular probe has a deep, wide beam. This probe works well for brachial, carotid, femoral, deep veins. The 8MHz vascular probe is best for shallow vessels such as radial, ankle, foot, penile, and digits.
