Your SunTech Oscar 2 will utilize either a male or female connector for the monitor’s blood pressure hose depending on when the monitor was purchased.
If your Oscar 2 was purchased prior to April 2023, it utilizes the Male Quick Connect connector on the monitor tube. This connector connects to the Female Quick Connect on BP Cuffs (Orbit cuffs) purchased with your monitor. If you are using the Soft Disposable Cuffs with this unit you will need those cuffs that have the Female Quick Connect connector.
If your Oscar 2 was purchased after April 2023, it utilizes the Female Bayonet (metal) connector on the monitor tube. This connector connects to the Male Bayonet on BP Cuffs (Orbit cuffs) purchased with your monitor. If you are using the Soft Disposable Cuffs with this unit you will need those cuffs that have the Male Bayonet (plastic) connector.
If your Fleet of Oscar 2’s is a combination purchased before and after April 2023, it utilizes both types of connectors on the monitor BP hose. You can still order Soft Disposable Cuffs with either Male Bayonet or Female Quick Connect. However, if you want to standardize to one Soft Disposable Cuff BP connector you must use one of the two adapters available.
