The electric EPD headrest system is a useful addition to the epidural process. Using the electronic controls, clinicians are able to adjust to the correct height and foot position specific to that patient. The electric EPD fits patients of a variety of body sizes and weights, holding up to 600lbs, and with multiple simple adjustments to accommodate various patient and table heights.
The “EPD Package 2” comes with the original EPD non-electric headrest system and a labor delivery stand (LDS). This package creates a superior setup of both headrest system and a rolling stand.
The original EPD non-electric allows for unique torso positioning, making the epidural procedure more comfortable. The original EPD provides a large range of adjustments for height and positioning (exclusive to the Pivotal Health Solutions design). The LDS stand (included in “Package 2”) serves its purpose to hold up the EPD headrest system and allow the patient to comfortable place their feet on the foot rests. Getting your patient comfortable and adjusted has never been easier!
