Why some ABPMs fail to capture readings

BP devices work by sensing small pressure changes in the cuff from the brachial artery. When the patient is moving, vibrations can cause the signal from the cuff to drown out. It makes it difficult to get a reliable blood pressure reading on a patient that is moving.

Rejecting this noise requires a motion tolerant algorithm from readings to capture a sustainable report, even with the patient moving.

SunTech motion tolerance

SunTech is the world leader in motion tolerant BP, thanks to the propriety technology, which can be used everywhere from Everest to low earth orbit.
