Evidence suggests utilizing a pulse oximeter with children can accurately aid in diagnosing children with previously unrecognized hypoxemia (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/adc.bmj.com\/content\/101\/8\/694\" target=\"_blank\">view the study<\/a>). It is important to measure the oxygen saturation of children with asthma.
